Effective Date: September 10, 2024
These Terms of Service (“TOS”) govern the use of the utooth.ca website and its Continuing Education (CE) courses. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Course Expiry and Completion Requirements
Every course offered at utooth.ca has a specific Expiry Date as mandated by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). To qualify for Category 1 CE points, the Final Quiz must be completed prior to the course’s Expiry Date. Certificates of Completion are time-stamped and must be issued before the expiry date for CE points to be valid. No exceptions will be made for extending Expiry Dates, and replacement courses will not be offered for courses that have expired without completion.
2. Single Use and Certificate Issuance
When you purchase access to a course, you are granted the right to complete that course once and receive one Certificate of Completion, which qualifies for Category 1 CE points. If you wish to retake the course in the current or a subsequent cycle (if permitted by the RCDSO), you must repurchase the course.
3. Refund Policy
- Non-Refundable Courses: Once a course has been accessed or completed, it cannot be refunded.
- Refund Requests: Refunds may be requested within 30 days of purchase, provided the course has not been accessed or completed.
- Course Exchange: Within 30 days of purchase, if the course has not been taken, you may exchange it for another course of equal points value.
Refunds and exchanges must be requested through admin@utooth.ca.
4. Privacy Policy
utooth.ca respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and retain only the information necessary for course completion, including:

5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, utooth.ca and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website, its courses, or inability to use the services. This includes, but is not limited to, errors or delays in course completion, system outages, or failure to meet CE point requirements due to user error or misunderstanding of the course deadlines.
Our liability in any case will be limited to the amount paid for the course in question.
6. Compliance with RCDSO Regulations
